House Style
House Style controls what a document from your organisation looks like: the logo, header lines, footer, page numbering, typeface, colours and signature block that every agent-generated report, letter and deck carries. It is not a knowledge source agents read from - it is the letterhead applied to everything they write.

Navigate to Capabilities > Documents > House Style.
What you can configure

| Letterhead lines | Up to six lines of text shown at the top of every page. |
| Footer text | A line of text shown at the bottom of every page. |
| Number the pages | Toggle page numbering on or off. |
| Add a date and address block to letters | Toggle a date/address block for letter-style documents. |
| Typeface | The body font family (e.g. Georgia). |
| Body size (pt) | The body font size, from 6 to 32 points. |
| Heading colour / Accent colour | Colours used for headings and accents in generated documents. |
| Signature block | Text used to sign off agent-authored letters. |
Starting from an existing letterhead
If you already have a Word letterhead template, you do not need to re-enter every field by hand:
- Click Extract from a letterhead.
- Choose a
.docxor.dotxfile that carries your letterhead in its header/footer. - Outermind reads the header, footer and default fonts from the document and fills in the matching fields below, each marked from letterhead.
- Review the pre-filled fields - nothing is saved yet.
- Click Save house style to apply them.
Extraction only pre-fills the form. If a field wasn't read correctly, edit it before saving - the extraction step never writes anything on its own.
Previewing your style
Click Preview a sample document at any time, including before saving, to download a one-page sample document rendered with your current (possibly unsaved) settings. This is the same renderer your agents use, so the preview never drifts from what your agents will actually produce.
Saving your changes
Click Save house style to apply your changes. Every agent-generated .docx, .pptx and PDF
created afterward uses the saved style.
FAQ
Do I have to fill in every field? No. Any field left blank falls back to the platform default when documents are generated.
Does extracting from a letterhead overwrite my logo or unrelated fields? No. Extraction only updates the fields it could read from the uploaded document; everything else is left as you had it.
Will previewing save my changes? No. Preview renders a sample from whatever is currently in the form, saved or not. Click Save house style separately to keep your changes.
