PA Hub Guide

The PA Hub is your dedicated section for interacting with and managing your Personal Assistant. It provides a sidebar-based layout with pages organized into logical sections: Home, Work, Communicate, Monitor, and Configure.

Hub Layout

The PA Hub features a sidebar that displays:

  • Your PA's avatar and name
  • A status badge: Active (green), Paused (amber), or Pending Setup (blue)
  • A quick-action Pause/Resume button
  • Navigation links grouped by section

info

The "Wake Up Now" button is disabled when the PA is paused. If your administrator has paused your PA, you will see a message explaining the situation.

Real-Time Updates

The Dashboard updates in real time when your PA is actively working. You will see live indicators when your PA starts or completes a work cycle, finishes tasks, or sends chat messages, without needing to refresh the page.

Goals

Location: PA Hub > Goals

Manage your PA's goals with tabs for Active, Achieved, and All goals.

Goal Cards

Each goal card displays:

  • Priority badge (High, Medium, Low)
  • Goal title and description
  • Progress bar with percentage
  • Project and task counts (active projects, pending tasks, completed tasks)
  • Creation date
  • View and Edit actions

Creating Goals

Click Add Goal to create a new goal. Provide a title and description. You can also select from the same example goal templates available during setup. New goals default to Medium priority, which you can adjust afterward.

Goal Detail View

Click a goal card to see the full detail view with:

  • Goal header (title, description, priority, status, dates)
  • Linked projects with status indicators
  • Task breakdown across all projects for this goal
  • Activity timeline filtered to this goal
  • Edit button to modify the goal
tip

Goals work best when they are specific and measurable. "Draft replies to all routine vendor emails within 2 hours" gives your PA clear criteria, while "Help with email" is too vague to act on effectively.

Deleting Goals

You can remove goals you no longer need. Projects and tasks linked to a deleted goal are preserved but no longer have an active goal driving them.

Projects

Location: PA Hub > Projects

View all projects created by your PA. Projects are generated automatically as your PA breaks down goals into actionable work. Employees typically do not create projects directly; the PA creates them during its execution cycles.

Filtering

Filter projects by:

  • Status - Active, Completed, or All
  • Goal - Show projects linked to a specific goal
  • Priority - High, Medium, or Low

Project Cards

Each project card shows:

  • Project name and status
  • Linked goal
  • Task progress (completed vs. total)
  • Estimated and actual time
  • Last activity timestamp

Project Detail View

Click a project card to see:

  • Project header with description, linked goal, and status
  • Task list with status, priority, and due dates
  • You can update task status (mark complete, add notes)
  • Project activity timeline
  • Task dependency visualization (when applicable)

Calendar

Location: PA Hub > Calendar

A visual calendar showing your PA's scheduled activity and task timeline.

Views

  • Monthly view (default) - Overview of the entire month
  • Weekly view - Detailed view of each week

Color Coding

ColorMeaning
BlueScheduled wake-ups
GreenCompleted tasks and work
OrangeTask due dates
RedOverdue items

Click any day to see detailed activity for that date. The calendar also shows your PA's wake-up schedule pattern (e.g., "Every day at 9 AM and 2 PM").

Chat

Location: PA Hub > Chat

A real-time chat interface for direct conversation with your PA.

How It Works

  • Type a message and press Send to start a conversation
  • Sending a message triggers an immediate PA wake-up with an employee_message trigger type
  • Your PA's avatar and name appear on assistant messages; your avatar appears on your messages
  • Conversation history is preserved and accessible from the conversation list sidebar
  • You can have multiple conversations, each with its own topic and history

Use Cases for Chat

  • Ask your PA to research a topic immediately
  • Request a status update on a goal or project
  • Give your PA new instructions or context
  • Ask questions about work it has completed
  • Request email drafts or document reviews
info

Chat messages trigger a PA wake-up regardless of the scheduled frequency. This allows you to interact with your PA in real time without waiting for the next scheduled cycle. Chat-triggered wake-ups count toward the daily execution limit.

warning

Chat is disabled when your PA is paused. You will see a "Your PA is currently paused" message in the chat interface until the PA is resumed.

Activity

Location: PA Hub > Activity

A detailed timeline log of all PA actions with filtering capabilities.

warning

If your PA has been paused by your administrator, the Resume button is disabled. You will see a message: "Paused by your administrator. Contact them to resume." Your administrator must resume the PA from their side.

Changing Personalization

When you update personalization settings (name, avatar, style, or instructions), changes take effect on your PA's next wake-up cycle. A confirmation message shows: "Personalization updated. Changes will take effect on [PA Name]'s next wake-up."

If you change your PA's name, the agent's display name is also updated.

Summary Reports

Your PA can send you summary reports based on your configured preferences.

Daily Summary

If you selected "Daily summary" during setup, your PA sends a single comprehensive report at the end of its last scheduled wake-up each day. The summary includes:

  • Completed tasks across all wake-up cycles for the day
  • Goal progress updates
  • Items needing your attention
  • Overview of emails processed (if inbox management is active)
  • Upcoming items for tomorrow

Per-Cycle Summary

If you selected "After each cycle," your PA sends a brief update after each scheduled wake-up (not after real-time email triggers, which would be too frequent). Each summary covers what was accomplished during that specific work session.

Delivery Channels

Summaries are delivered through the channel you configured:

ChannelHow It Works
EmailSent from the PA's shared mailbox to your primary mailbox
In-appBell icon notification in the Control Bridge header; click to navigate to PA Hub > Activity
BothDelivered through both email and in-app notification

Notifications

Your PA Hub also displays notifications when your administrator makes changes that affect your PA:

  • Tools added to or removed from your available pool
  • LLM models added or removed
  • PA paused or resumed by administrator
  • Working hours or daily execution limit changed
  • Privacy policy changed

These notifications appear as in-app alerts and, if your summary channel includes email, as email messages from the PA's shared mailbox.
