MSP Partner Portal - Client Detail Page

The Client Detail page (/clients/:azureTenantId) is where you manage a single customer. Its header shows the company's identity at a glance, and a Settings gear replaces the old three-dot overflow menu for lifecycle actions.

The header row shows, left to right:

  • Company name - the client's display name.
  • Status badge - the client's current lifecycle status (Discovered, Enabling, Enabled, or Failed).
  • Tier badge - the client's subscription tier, shown only when a tier has been resolved for the client.
  • Management Mode badge - the client's management mode, shown only when one has been established.
  • Settings gear - opens the Client Settings sheet.

The Tier and Management Mode badges only appear once the underlying value is known - a client with no tier or mode set yet simply shows the Status badge with no badge in its place. This is deliberate: the header never guesses or fills in a default badge.

Opening Client Settings

Click the gear icon (or press Enter while it has focus) to open the Client settings sheet from the right edge of the screen. Focus moves into the sheet's Settings tab automatically.

The sheet has three tabs:

TabPurpose
SettingsSubscription lifecycle actions (upgrade, downgrade, cancel, reactivate)
HistoryAudit timeline of changes made to this client
ConfigureClient configuration fields

Close the sheet with the X button, by clicking outside it, or by pressing Escape. Closing it returns focus to the gear icon.

Note: The three tabs currently show a "coming soon" placeholder while their underlying actions are built out in a later release. The sheet replaces the previous three-dot overflow menu - lifecycle actions no longer live in a menu on the page itself.

FAQ

Why don't I see a Tier or Management Mode badge for this client? Those badges only render once the client has a resolved tier or management mode. A newly discovered or not-yet-configured client may show only the Status badge.

Where did the three-dot menu go? It was removed. All lifecycle actions (upgrade, downgrade, cancel, reactivate) now live in the Settings sheet, opened via the gear icon next to the company name.

Can I keyboard-navigate to the gear and open the sheet? Yes. Tab to the gear icon and press Enter to open the sheet; press Escape to close it and return focus to the gear.
